Chongqing- Whether valet parking, automatic detour, congestion vehicle avoidance, or navigation lane change, imaginary black technologies will soon become a reality in the new brand Zhuge Intelligence.

Zhuge Intelligence is a user-centric intelligent data solution provider that provides integrated data collection, management, and journey analytics products and solutions.

On August 29, at the Second Changan Auto Tech Ecosystem Summit, one of the significant agendas of the 2022 Smart China Expo, Changan Automobile officially released Zhuge Intelligence and the phased results of Changan Automobile's intellectual transformation.

The future AI assistant in the car

Zhuge Intelligence consists of three core technologies: intelligent interaction, intelligent driving, and ecological cooperation. In intelligent interaction, Changan demonstrated two features of its natural speech system: "wake-free" and "intelligent dialect adaptation."

According to the demonstration video, Changan Automobile's AI assistant "Xiao An" can respond directly to the driver's requests and completes a series of car control commands.

"This is a collaboration of visual recognition and speech recognition, which can determine the real motivation of the user and minimize false triggers," said He Gang, general manager of Changan Automobile Intelligent Research Institute.

Intelligent dialect adaptation is a command that does not require switching dialect patterns. Xiao An can communicate with users in various dialects freely. In the future, English and Spanish will be added.

"Within this year, several car models will be equipped with these functions," according to He.

Pilot assists like an experienced driver

In intelligent driving, Zhuge Intelligence mainly includes significant driving scenarios like automatic parking and safe driving. It can also provide customized services in the future.  

Changan Automobile announced their remote valet parking technology, which allows the garage to be equipped with a full-scene memory system. It offers 11 services, including in-car parking, remote control in and out, and remote parking. Covering hundreds of scenarios, the pilot assistant will be as skillful as an experienced driver.

"In 2024, Changan will launch the urban self-learning pilot assistant. Through this function, we are breaking the shackles of traditional maps and realizing daily route memory for commuting and high-frequency travel," said Liang Fenghua, deputy general manager of Changan Automotive Intelligent Research Institute. "This function has already been adapted to the roads in Chongqing."

A world-class car brand

Changan Automobile aims to build a world-class automobile brand. With an emphasis on intelligence and electrification, Changan Automobile has accelerated its layout since 2017.

Over 80 billion yuan (about 11.6 billion U.S. dollars) will be invested in new energy, intelligence, and digital transformation by 2025, and over 30 new intelligent network products will be launched. By 2030, 4.5 million intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) will be sold under the Changan brand.
