“Huangsi Mama City Exploration” Takes You to Explore Tongliang Dragon Dance

Chongqing - The culture and tourism promotion show "Huangsi Mama City Exploration" is scheduled to premiere on December 9. In the show, a team formed by famous Chinese actor Zhang Jin, American ex-pat Ben Brown, who is favored by Chinese netizens, and actress Li Xiaoxiao from Moldova will explore the city of Chongqing together. 

Zhang was born in Chongqing but has been away for many years. The show aims to take her to discover new changes in Chongqing, such as city scenery and locals.
 
The guest Zhang wanted to explore Tongliang District, the home of Chinese dragon culture tourism and has been praised as the "hometown of Chinese folk art."  The team will customize an exploration trip for her and start an ingenious "Dragon Dance Journey."

The journey starts with a majestic intangible cultural heritage drama, "Dream Chasing · Tongliang Dragon Dance." The group will explore the thousand-year intangible heritage of Tongliang traditional dragon dance varieties such as water cloud dragon, lotus dragon, giant creepy dragon, ribbon dragon, kite dragon, competition dragon, luminous dragon, straw dragon, fire dragon, and more.

The different dragon shows are staged with shocking visual effects and intriguing storylines. The chief director Yang Ge and the other leading creator will show up and reveal the story behind it for the first time.

Zhou Heping, the city-level inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage "Tongliang Dragon Lantern Tie Dye Technique," will display dragon lantern varieties such as fire dragons, giant dragons, and dragons for competition. Zhou will present the tie-dye skills of those lanterns that have gone to the world in the program. How will the team react? Will foreign friends be stumped or unexpectedly surprised?

After learning that the son of Mr. Ben, who loves Tongliang dragons very much, is about to return to the United States, the guest Zhang called on the group to collaborate with Tongliang Experimental Kindergarten, Tongliang No. 2 Middle School, and the Chinese National Dragon Dance Team to prepare a mysterious gift for him. However, there were many accidents during the preparation process.
