Spring Festival Vibe: Grand Light-Drone-Fireworks Performance in Chongqing Liangping

The night of February 3 witnessed hundreds of drones taking off in formation in Chongqing's Liangping District, using the night sky as a canvas and the lights as a brush to create a visual feast for Chinese and foreign tourists and residents, kicking off the 2nd Mingyue Mountain Ecotourism and Culture Festival and the "Liang Wa" Celebration of the Spring Festival.

At 8:30 pm, the night sky over Liangping was lit up by dazzling neon lights. After take-off, the drones began to change formations, flashing alternating Chinese and English themes such as the Western China Pre-Prepared Food Industry City, the "Liang Wa" Train, and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.

The 13-minute performance is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, the cute and animated "Liang Wa" appears and sends best wishes for the New Year to Chinese and foreign visitors. The second chapter shows Liangping's industrial base and future development plan. As the train carrying "Liang Wa" slowly moves forward, the slogan "Western China Pre-Prepared Food Go to the World from Here" appears startlingly, showing the ambition of the people of Liangping. The third chapter was the grand finale, expressing the openness and cooperation of the people of Liangping, as well as their confidence and determination to move forward with vigor and determination.

After the drone show, fireworks of various shapes and sizes lit up the night sky like a flower in full bloom. Under the fireworks, the faces of visitors and citizens were filled with happiness and joy as they raised their mobile phones and cameras to capture the beautiful moments, longing for the New Year.

"This is the first time I have seen a drone show on the spot. It's so beautiful, and I believe the future of Liangping will be better and better." Ms. Du, a resident, said happily after watching the light-drone-fireworks show.
