Film Screening to Celebrate Francophonie Month in Chongqing

Chongqing - The Consulate General of Switzerland in Chengdu recently launched a film screening activity in Chongqing as part of the 27th Month of the Francophonie in China, inviting guests from various countries.

This year’s theme was “participer” (participate in English), which means to participate and showcase the diversity of French culture through activities such as film screenings and poetry recitations. On March 11, the event kicked off with a screening of the Swiss film “Last Dance.”

March is Francophonie month. Events are organized to celebrate the many facets of the French-speaking world. The celebration of French culture brings together enthusiasts from around the world for an annual event, an opportunity for individuals to experience the rich and diverse French culture firsthand.
