Chongqing - Chongqing secured a spot among the Top 10 domestic tourist destinations once again during this year's May Day holiday.
The Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development reported that the number of overnight tourists in the city during the holiday reached 1,438,900, reflecting a 69.5% year-on-year increase and a 108.3% growth compared to 2019.
Throughout the holiday, the city's 120 tourist attractions welcomed 6,412,600 visitors, a 67.2% increase over the same period last year and a 17.9% rise compared to 2019.
