The ideas of Marx and Engels emphasize human dignity and equality, placing fundamental human concerns at the core of global governance. Promoting these ideas contributes to constructing a people-centered global governance system where the rights and well-being of individuals become key objectives.

They advocate for the elimination of exploitation and inequality and the pursuit of common interests. By drawing upon these ideas in global governance, cooperation and mutually beneficial relationships can be promoted, achieving interdependence of interests among nations.

Their focus on individual freedoms and rights can guide the pursuit of shared rights in global governance. This entails establishing fair systems and rules that ensure everyone enjoys basic rights while decentralizing and constraining power to prevent abuse and injustice.

It encourages individuals and society to assume responsibility and collectively pursue society's common interests in this book. In global governance, Marx and Engels's ideas emphasize shared responsibility among nations, including addressing global challenges such as environmental protection, poverty alleviation, and global health. Only through shared responsibility can fairness and sustainable development be achieved in global governance.

Drawing from the latest compilation of Marx and Engels' classic literature and relevant research, book editors meticulously select 30 works that showcase the human rights thinking of Marx and Engels from the vast collection of Marxist classical literature.
