Chongqing - The Western China International Communication Organization (WCICO) globally premiered its landmark documentary series When the Yangtze Meets the Nile. The five-episode series (approx. 20 min each), co-produced with Egypt's Nile TV, aired on WCICO's domestic and international networks as well as Egypt's leading channels—Nile News, Nile International, Channel One, and the Specialized Sector of NMA—achieving unprecedented media convergence.
On the banks of the Yangtze River, Diaoyu Fortress’s thirty-six years of steadfast defense stand as a testament to Eastern wisdom in military strategy; on the banks of the Nile, the obelisks of the Karnak Temple bear witness to Thutmose III’s epic campaigns. When the roar of iron and fire intertwines with the charge of chariots across time, the East and the West offer different interpretations of offense and defense, forming a dialogue that bridges civilizations across the two great rivers.
Simultaneously launched worldwide across all domestic and international platforms by the Western China International Communication Organization, Nile News, Nile International, Channel One, and the Specialized Sector of NMA.
