From intricate zodiac sign handicrafts to an endearing stone lotus boy and a crystal-clear white marble rabbit, the 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) welcomed an array of eye-catching cultural and creative exhibits from Dazu on June 7.
This eclectic event held both online and offline, will run through June 11. A delegation from Chongqing's Dazu District, home to UNESCO World Heritage Site, is attending the ICIF, a globally renowned cultural event. This team showcases a multitude of outstanding "Made in Dazu" cultural and creative products, along with various culture and tourism investment promotion projects.

The delegation has exhibited a wealth of high-quality cultural and tourism resources, such as the globally recognized Dazu Rock Carvings and Longshui Lake Municipal-level Tourism Resort. Through tangible exhibits, imagery, text, and videos, attendees gain a deeper understanding of Dazu and its vibrant culture and tourism landscape.

Showcasing over 100 premium exhibits, including the national intangible cultural heritage Dazu rock-carved Guanyin with beads in hand, the Sun and Moon Guanyin, and the colored sculpture Dazu Lion — a gold medal winner at the China Arts and Crafts Cultural & Creative Competition, these exhibits instantly drew attention. It received accolades from visitors and merchants alike.

"At this unique event, we aspire to offer businesspeople and visitors from around the globe a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Dazu culture," said a representative from the Dazu Rock Carvings Cultural and Creative Park.
The park plans to engage in the High-quality Development Forum for Cultural Industrial Parks and the Signing Ceremony on the "Program for Cultural Industrial Parks to Work Together." They will sign agreements with the Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Block in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, and the Purple Pottery National Cultural Industry Demonstration Park in Jianshui County, Yunnan Province. These partnerships aim to foster mutual growth, leverage each other's strengths, and promote regional development of cultural industries.
While attending the fair, the Dazu delegation hopes to promote investment and establish partnerships, learning from and networking with other industry participants. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Dazu District launched 28 culture and tourism investment promotion projects and extended invitations to high-quality merchants domestically and internationally. The Dazu delegation contacted five culture and tourism enterprises in Shenzhen, conducted field research for investment promotion, and pursued pragmatic cooperation.
Dazu remains committed to the principles of cultural inheritance and development. In order to conserve Dazu Rock Carvings well, the district is actively contributing to building "an internationally renowned culture and tourism city, a highland of characteristic industries, and a demonstration zone of urban-rural integration." It strives to accelerate the development of a globally recognized cultural reception hall, thereby solidifying its status as a gateway between Chengdu and Chongqing.
