Enjoy Chongqing’s Cultural Feast at the China International Cultural Industries Fair

Chongqing - The Chongqing Pavilion at the 19th China International Cultural Industries Fair invites visitors to immerse themselves in a cultural feast, enjoying the vibrant cultural heritage of Chongqing. The pavilion features diverse cultural products, including exquisite Miao ethnic costumes, Liangping Woodblock paintings, and the iconic Dazu Rock Carvings from Chongqing.

Chen Song, Deputy Director of Chongqing Dazu District Cultural and Tourism Commission, highlighted the significance of this year's exhibition. Over 100 cultural products, primarily from Dazu District, have been carefully selected for display. Among them are a series of cultural items related to the national intangible cultural heritage of the renowned Dazu Rock Carvings, offering visitors a glimpse into the region's rich history and artistic legacy.

In addition to the Dazu Rock Carvings, the pavilion also showcases a variety of intangible cultural heritage products from the Dazu District. This platform allows for the exhibition of these valuable cultural assets and facilitates communication and collaboration with other companies, especially those in the cultural tourism sector. Through these interactions, the pavilion aims to identify opportunities for investment and cooperation, fostering the growth and preservation of Chongqing's cultural heritage.

One remarkable exhibit is the acclaimed Dazu lion, which secured the gold prize at the China Arts and Crafts Creative Competition during the previous year's ICIF.

Another unique artifact on display is a folding fan that gained recognition in 2019 as a national gift for foreign guests during the SCO and Belt and Road summits.
