Chongqing - On June 23rd, the "Run·Kids" 2023 Chongqing Children's Sports Conference opened at the Chongqing International Expo Center, which featured five sports events for preschoolers, including gymnastics, physical fitness, 3-on-3 children's football, 3-on-3 children's basketball, and balance bike racing. It has attracted nearly 5,000 preschoolers from over 300 kindergartens across the city.

During the opening ceremony, the children presented exciting performances of flag drumming, balance bike riding, and cheerleading to the audience. Accompanied by cheerful rhythms, the adorable kids captivated the audience with their flexible spins, energetic dance moves, and cute smiles.

Following the opening ceremony, the various competitions commenced. Although the participants were all preschoolers, they demonstrated great enthusiasm and perseverance on the field, giving their all for every breakthrough and goal. They were full of vitality and thrilled throughout the event.
"My son's kindergarten offers basketball and football classes, and he loves them. From a young age, he has enjoyed sports, which not only exercises his body but also fosters a sense of unity," said Mr. Li Junchao, a resident who accompanied his son to the conference.
Li Xuerui, Associate Professor at Chongqing University's School of Physical Education, President of the Chongqing Youth Sports Association, and Olympic badminton champion, said, "Children are the hope and future of our country. I hope that children can fully enjoy the health and joy brought by this children's sports competition, demonstrate good sportsmanship and a competitive spirit on the field, run with all their might, showcase their youthful vitality, and create a bright future."

In recent years, the Yuelai International Exhibition City has promoted diversified exhibition operations and accumulated abundant sports projects and resources. The YUE Sports Chongqing International Expo Youth Sports Center, the nation's first innovative project integrating sports and education, is scheduled to be completed and put into use this summer.
The center offers nine sports programs, including football, basketball, fencing, badminton, and table tennis, with an international perspective, high-standard venues, and high-level faculty. It provides a comprehensive and scientifically planned sports growth program for youth aged 4 to 18.
