Chongqing Culture and Tourism Exhibited at Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo

Chongqing - The 11th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo commenced at the Venetian Macao. Chongqing made an impressive presence at the expo with six standard booths and a united cultural innovation booth. To showcase the distinctive charm of the mountain city, Chongqing's delegation brought countless local specialties, including Fairy Mountain Black Tea from Wulong District, Black Mountain Red, a type of black tea from Wansheng District, Hechuan Peach Slices, Dingqing Yinhao green tea, and cultural relics from the Three Gorges Museum. These offerings attracted numerous visitors from Macao.

On the afternoon of June 30, 2023, the Chongqing Tourism Promotion Meeting in Macao, under the theme "Hello, Chongqing," began on the main stage in the pavilion. Stellar performances, including the Sichuan Opera, female solos, and Suona performances, received enthusiastic applause. Throughout the promotion meeting, Chongqing presented its tourism resources with seven defining keywords: 8D City, Yangtze River and Three Gorges, World Cultural Heritages, Traveling Back to Ancient Time in Wuling, Spring City, Hot Pot, and Family Educational Tours. The Chongqing delegation also spotlighted well-known tourist destinations, such as Hechuan District, Wulong District, and Wansheng District, underscoring Chongqing's cultural and tourism attributes. Additionally, the delegation gifted the audience with scenic area tickets, cultural and creative products, and Chongqing Special Snacks, offering the audience a taste of Chongqing's scenic allure and cultural ambiance. The engaging interactions piqued Macao visitors' interest in Chongqing, earning high praise from all participants.

Exhibitors from Chongqing participated in business negotiations and various forms of online cooperation during the expo. They visited various tourism companies, including Macau Era Travel Agency, Zhuhai City Travel Agency, and Ctrip's office in the Greater Bay Area. The Chongqing Wulong Tourism Industry (Group) Limited Company forged a preliminary cooperation agreement with Macau Golden Era Travel Agency.
