Chongqing - Get ready to embark on a mesmerizing journey of entertainment and nature as the 5th Beer Camp Music Carnival Season will kick off in Chongqing's Fengdu County on July 14th and will run until August 27th.
Themed with Cool Nantian Lake: Wonderful Resort Area, this carnival promises to captivate visitors with its unique blend of cultural performances, live music, and immersive activities amidst the picturesque Nantian Lake Scenic Area.

Tang Shouyuan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fengdu County Committee and Mayor of the People's Government of Fengdu County, expressed that this event aims to leverage the natural resources of the Nantian Lake Scenic Area to enhance tourism consumption, especially in summer.
The carnival season features 18 programs categorized into four types: introductions, cultural activities, live performances, and characteristic activities. These activities combine distinctive resources, such as culture, tourism, and ecological resources, seamlessly integrating camping, music, nature, and parents-kid travel into a cohesive experience.

Traditional art performances will include Sichuan Qingyin (story-singing performed in the Sichuan dialect), Sichuan Pingshu (Sichuan Storytelling), and Sichuan "Chedeng" (one of the traditional opera genres in Sichuan).
Additionally, the event will encompass pop culture elements, like electric music, rock music, and water dance drama. Moreover, visitors will have the opportunity to experience another lifestyle through role-playing games in various scenarios.
The carnival season will boast more than 100 kinds of gourmet, like Fengdu Spicy Chicken, and cooperate with 106 hotels to accommodate visitors. In addition, significant enhancements have been made to various related services, including public transportation, online ride-hailing services, taxis, car rentals, voluntary services, and introduction and consulting services.
Tang Shouyuan expressed that in the future, Fengdu County will highlight the emerging needs of the cultural and tourism market and seize new opportunities to transform Nantian Lake Scenic Area into a phenomenal resort destination. Nantian Lake Scenic Area is expected to engage over three million tourists and generate over a billion annual revenue by 2025.
