China’s Quan/Chen Debut at Asian Games, Clinching Victorious Beginning for Chinese Diving Team

Hangzhou - The diving events of the Hangzhou Asian Games kicked off on September 30. Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi of Team China secured the gold medal in the Women's Synchronised 10m Platform Final, marking a triumphant start for the Chinese Diving Team.

Since pairing up, Quan and Chen are said to have forged an "invincible" legacy. Numerous fans and spectators gathered at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Aquatic Sports Arena to witness their remarkable dives. The duo certainly lived up to expectations. Their flawless performance earned a total score of 375.30, outscoring the second-placed Team Japan by over 80 points, leading to resounding applause.

Although the two divers have previously clinched world championships and Olympic gold medals, this marked their debut at the Asian Games.
