The Luhai College Cultural Exchange and Practical Internship Base for International Students is Chongqing's first platform dedicated to cultural exchange for international students.
Its goal is to cultivate high-level, versatile international communication talents with a Chinese perspective, global vision, and understanding of China and the world. The initiative aims to facilitate mutual understanding and exchange between Chinese and foreign youth, strengthen friendships, expand the "international circle of friends," and spread positive voices among the youth.

"I have learned a lot through these months of activities, not only professional knowledge but also language and communication skills," shared Ebrahim Abdulsalam, a Yemeni student at Chongqing University, reflecting on his internship experience at the Luhai International Communication Foundation.
Over the past few months, he has actively participated in projects such as Eagle City, Land-Sea Promise, and the Special Fund for the Protection and Promotion of Dazu Rock Carvings.
His involvement allowed him to create high-quality videos, earning him recognition from the university. These experiences provided valuable opportunities for him in film production, international communication, cultural exchange, and event documentation.
In addition to providing internship opportunities, the base will organize various cultural exchange and practical activities, guiding international students to explore Chongqing and experience its unique culture.
Last week, Muhammad Afzal from Pakistan, pursuing a PhD in Computer Science and Technology at Chongqing University, participated in the inaugural season of the "Land-Sea Promise·International Youth Urban Observation Program" Central Park Theme Event.
Afzal, representing the field of computer science, shared that the event deepened his understanding of his research area and encouraged him to contribute his knowledge to societal development.
Feng Li, a first-level researcher at the Publicity Department of the Chongqing Municipal Committee, expressed the hope that foreign youth participants will be both observers and contributors to project design in future activities. Through active engagement and profound reflection, they can leverage their professional expertise.
Additionally, Feng Li encouraged foreign participants to bring their observations, thoughts, and ideas back to their home countries, spreading them among family and friends, truly contributing to the widespread construction of an "international circle of friends."
