Chongqing Spotlights Cultural and Tourism Allure at Harbin Promotion Event

Chongqing - On December 5, Harbin hosted the 2023 Chongqing Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference (Harbin), a prestigious event masterminded by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development.

The event splendidly highlighted Chongqing's distinct cultural and tourism offerings in a variety of ways, including promotions of cultural tourism projects, artistic performances, and announcements of special tourism discounts. The opening dance performance, Song of Prosperous Times, set an illustrious tone for the conference.

The presenters gave a comprehensive overview of Chongqing's cultural and tourism sector, featuring an array of unique cultural tourism routes. These included the Wulong Karst landscape, Taohuayuan (the Peach Blossom Spring) in Youyang, the Wuling Mountain Rift Valley, Simian Mountain, Changshou Lake, Jinyun Mountain in Beibei, the Small Three Gorges in Wushan, and Tongjing Hot Springs. In a heartfelt invitation, they encouraged tourists from the Northeast to visit Chongqing for leisure and tourism, offering them an opportunity to immerse in the mountain city's essence and cultural allure. The conference successfully introduced Chongqing's tourism products to Harbin, garnering significant attention from the local tourism sector and the general public, thereby elevating the profile and prestige of Chongqing's cultural tourism in the Northeast region.
