Popular locations included Hongyadong Folk Customs Area with 259,000 visitors, Ciqikou Ancient Town with 241,000 visitors, and Wulong Karst Tourism Area with 82,000 visitors.

According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, domestic destinations experienced a surge in visitors during the three-day break, welcoming 135 million travelers, marking an impressive 155.3% increase compared to the same period last year. Chongqing secured its position alongside Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Wuhan, and Xi'an among the top ten popular cities for the New Year holiday.
Chongqing organized over 200 cultural and tourism activities this winter, featuring events like the Ice and Snow Festival, Hot Spring Tourism Season, New Year's Concert, Food Carnival, Intangible Cultural Heritage Performances, and Cultural and Creative Markets.
The city witnessed a 70% year-on-year increase in tourism orders, with major sources being cities such as Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, Changsha, and Guangzhou.
Before and during the holiday, Chongqing hosted more than 20 large-scale cultural and tourism events, including the 8th Chongqing Cultural Tourism Consumption Season (Autumn-Winter), Chongqing Citizen Music Festival, and the 2nd International Light and Shadow Art Festival.
Additionally, Chongqing launched the "Chongqing Flavor 360 Bowls" selection for its tourism food, distributing cultural and tourism vouchers worth over ten million yuan through platforms like Tongcheng and Ctrip.
Throughout the city, 30 major theaters and performance spaces presented 161 cultural performances, including concerts, acrobatic shows, stage plays, and traditional comedy, with a cumulative audience of 37,300.
Sixteen public art galleries showcased 21 themed exhibitions, attracting 40,600 visitors. Furthermore, 42 public libraries and 41 cultural centers offered free admission, drawing 490,900 visitors and serving 797,500 online users.
The city organized 258 diverse and engaging cultural events under the theme "Welcoming Spring and Celebrating New Year," including street dance performances, rural small-stage artistic performances, and volunteer service activities. These activities attracted 546,000 participants, contributing to a vibrant cultural atmosphere in Chongqing during the holiday season.
