Chongqing - Zhang Yi, a member of the Chongqing Beibei District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), took the initiative to establish the "Sunshine Station," a committee to provide psychological support and public lectures to the employees in the Liangjiang High-Tech Park.
When asked about the initial purpose of creating the committee, Zhang mentioned it stemmed from a visit and research conducted in the park.

"During the research, we found that there are more than 1,500 enterprises and 60,000 employees in the park, who work three shifts a day and seldom communicate with each other," said Zhang.
Li Chengyin, a member of the Chongqing Beibei District Committee of CPPCC and General Manager of the Liangjiang High-Tech Industrial Park Construction Investment Co., Ltd, mentioned that some employees living in collective dormitories don't even know who their roommates are. "Being in a closed environment for an extended period is bound to affect the mental and physical health of employees, and it's not conducive to the safety, stability, and long-term development of the enterprises."
After thorough preparation, the "Sunshine Station" committee was established in June of last year. The committee operates under a system where conveners are responsible, with Zhang Yi and Zhao Yufang, both members of the Chongqing Beibei District Committee of CPPCC, serving as conveners. Members with backgrounds in psychology, medicine, or related fields were selected from different sectors.
The committee regularly opens a psychological counseling room, providing services such as counseling and assessments of occupational mental health issues for visitors. Additionally, they offer customized professional services for park enterprises, including mental health promotion, employee and manager training, and improvements in work environment design.
Since the committee's establishment, they have organized four public lectures. Through methods such as lectures and counseling sessions, they have helped over 400 employees to alleviate stress, effectively empowering enterprise development within the park.
