Shixian Taibai was born in Chongqing's Wanzhou District, known as the Golden Triangle of Chinese liquor, located at a latitude of 30° north. "Wanzhou is a natural brewing ground for microbial fermentation, aroma production, and ester production," said Zhu Kunchang, General Manager of Shixian Taibai Liquor Sales Co., Ltd.

"We carefully select red sorghum from the Three Gorges Reservoir Region and the Xiefeng Mountain Spring at an altitude of 1,318 meters," said Zhu. "With the help of century-old cellars, we strictly follow the six ancient brewing methods inherited from the Shang and Zhou dynasties while maintaining top-notch quality control standards throughout the process."

Ni Bin, General Manager of Chongqing Shixian Taibai Liquor Group Co., highlights the company's innovation in crafting Shixian Taibai baijiu, merging modernity with Eastern aesthetics.

Their distinct "Dual Aging" method involves the initial brew settling in pottery jars before undergoing multiple aging stages in a climate-controlled cellar, all under the supervision of master blenders. This process enriches the aroma and smoothness, resulting in a pleasantly mellow flavor.

Zhu also announced plans to accelerate the brand's market presence by introducing "Shixian Taibai" and "Shengshi Tangchao" dual-branded hit products, leveraging innovative marketing strategies to ensure the program's success.

In a push to strengthen its food and agricultural processing industry, Chongqing highlighted staple products like grain, oil, meat, and milk last year, unveiling the Bayu Gourmet Hit Products. Shixian Taibai led the baijiu category in this initiative.

This propelled the industry's value past 250 billion yuan (USD 34.8 billion), with overall consumer goods sales surpassing 1.5 trillion yuan, solidifying Chongqing's path toward becoming an international consumption hub.

Peng Heliang, Deputy Director of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, emphasized the cultural importance of Chongqing Hit Products as a vibrant symbol of the city's identity and economic-cultural strength. He highlighted Shixian Taibai's role in embodying Chongqing's spirit and offering locals and visitors a taste of its essence.

The promotional event concluded with Shixian Taibai forging strategic partnerships with key retailers and distributors, promising more comprehensive access to its exquisite range of liquors in the near future.
