Int’l Students Join Tongnan District’s Vibrant Dragon Boat Festival Celebration

Chongqing - On June 9, the Dragon Boat Festival series of activities in Chongqing's Tongnan District kicked off in Huaer Lane, Xingfu Street. During the Zongzi (sticky rice dumplings) making event, five international students from Chongqing University and Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications actively participated. Though their skills were awkward, their enthusiasm was high.

At the "Dragon Soaring in the Fujiang River" longest dragon boat blessing parade, the 368-meter dragon boat cruised in full dress, creating an impressive scene. Additionally, there were numerous activities, such as bamboo raft singing and chime performances, with tourists and citizens on the shore cheering continuously.

This event not only promotes tradition but also fosters cultural exchanges, attracting many participants to experience the charm and heritage of the Dragon Boat Festival. It enriches spiritual life, allows traditional culture to shine, inspires its inheritance, and brings it to life in the new era.
