teamLab Future Park’s First Exhibition in Chongqing to be Held at Metropolis Oriental Plaza

Cai Zhiqiang, Metropolis Oriental Plaza General Manager, said, "The digital economy is thriving, and cultural art, as a vital part of a city's soft power, is transforming people's aesthetic experiences and consumption patterns with its unique charm and innovative nature, especially when combined with digital technology. The introduction of the globally renowned immersive digital interactive exhibition 'teamLab FuturePark' to Chongqing for the first time brings new vitality and inspiration to the city's digital culture and art scene. It also fosters the integration of digital art and commerce, contributing to Chongqing’s goal of becoming an international consumer center city."

Preparations for the teamLab FuturePark debut in Chongqing have already begun. The exhibition will open in May 2025, allowing Chongqing’s citizens and visitors to experience an interactive digital feast attracting millions worldwide.

Created by the teamLab art collective, the "teamLab Future Park" provides an immersive digital interactive experience at the intersection of art, science, technology, and nature. It invites the audience to participate and create new experiences, enjoying co-creation fun.

Cai concluded, "By bringing the teamLab Future Park exhibition to Chongqing, Metropolis reinforces its leading position in trend culture and continues to drive Chongqing’s cultural innovation.
