Based on the beloved 1952 MGM film, Singin' in the Rain is a romantic comedy set during Hollywood's turbulent transition from silent films to "talkies" in the late 1920s. It follows the story of movie star Don Lockwood and aspiring performer Kathy Selden. Since its 2012 West End premiere, this stage adaptation has garnered four Laurence Olivier Awards nominations, praised for its faithful yet inventive staging of iconic cinematic moments.

A hallmark of this production is its spectacular use of over 6,000 liters of temperature-controlled water to create a real rain curtain during the signature number. Audience members in the front rows are famously advised that they might "share the shower," adding a unique immersive element to the performance.
