Chongqing - At the 8th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) from May 21 to 24, Chongqing Qianxin Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Group (CFTEC) will showcase how digital trade and cross-border services are helping connect western China with global markets.

CFTEC, a major state-owned enterprise under the Chongqing municipal government, will showcase its latest services and solutions at Booth A04 in Hall N1.

The company said its exhibition will focus on more than four decades of international trade experience, as well as its "1+3+N" overseas service network and "2+2+N" strategic product cluster. The display is intended to support Western Chinese companies seeking entry into global supply chains.

At the center of the booth will be a sand-table model illustrating the group's "1+3+N" overseas service system: one headquarters exhibition center in Chongqing, three core operating centers in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and East Africa, and multiple global marketing centers. Visitors will also see its overseas branches, including those in Malaysia and Singapore, as well as services in port logistics and supply chain finance.

The exhibition area will feature projects and products tied to Chongqing's export strategy, including "Chongqing vehicles going global", international trade commodities, the city's modern manufacturing cluster system, and bulk materials.

A central feature will be Yumaotong, the group's self-developed digital trade platform. The company said it offers full-cycle services, including consulting, document management, customs procedures, logistics and warehousing, tax rebate settlement, compliance management, and financial services. The platform covers Chongqing and extends into several central and western provinces.

During the fair, CFTEC said it will join nearly 10 themed activities, including forums, trade and production-capacity cooperation sessions, economic matchmaking with New Silk Road countries, signing ceremonies, and project roadshows.

A key event on May 22 will be the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Full-Process Digital Cross-Border Trade Project Roadshow. Based on the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity (CCI), the event will focus on digital document circulation across road, rail, sea, and air transport. Organizers said the project aims to build a new framework for cross-border digital trade and address gaps in land-based trade rules. The roadshow is also expected to release two milestone achievements and present progress in rule innovation, technical connectivity, and ecosystem development.

The company also plans to sign strategic cooperation agreements covering overseas expansion of in-vitro diagnostic products, international youth cultural trade talent programs, and digital trade infrastructure linking domestic and overseas platforms.

CFTEC was formed in April 2025. It holds qualifications including advanced customs AEO certification, fuel oil import credentials, and ticket-based hazardous chemicals business permits.

Its main businesses include bulk commodity import and export and integrated supply chain services. The group said annual import and export volume reaches 4 billion U.S. dollars, with operations in more than 80 countries and regions. It also maintains ties with more than 30 Chinese embassies and consulates abroad, and 27 chambers of commerce and industry associations in 23 countries.
