Chongqing - The 2026 Fairy Mountain Camping Music Festival will take place on August 15–16 at the Outdoor Sports Center of Fairy Mountain National Forest Park in Wulong District, southwestern China. Now in its 17th edition, the festival introduces a "one ticket, two experiences" model, with all music festival tickets including complimentary admission to the park, eliminating the need for a separate scenic-area entry pass.

"We want to make it easier and more affordable for visitors to enjoy everything Fairy Mountain has to offer," said an official from the Wulong District Culture and Tourism Development Commission. "During the day, guests can explore the alpine meadows on horseback or on foot. In the evening, they can walk straight into the concert venue with the same ticket – no extra purchase, no hassle. It's all about helping visitors linger longer and experience the best of both music and nature."
Two Nights, Two Genres
The festival splits its lineup across two distinct evenings. August 15 features a rock showcase with six acts – including Xiao'ou Zhou, YOUNG DRUG, Penicillin, and Sunken Boat – delivering more than five hours of classic and contemporary rock. August 16 shifts to hip-hop and R&B, headlined by Gem Gem, JelloRio, Zhang Yanqi, and local Chongqing dialect rap groups, blending contemporary beats with Chongqing's local rap culture. Performances run daily from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM against the backdrop of mountain breezes and starry skies.
Beyond the Main Stage
In addition to the main stage, organizers have set up four themed zones across the meadow: "Listen Island" for optimal acoustics, "Shop Island" featuring a specialty mountain-food market, "Play Island" with interactive games and photo installations, and "Chill Island" where attendees can lay out picnic blankets or set up inflatable sofas for relaxation.

Tickets and Transportation
Tickets are sold as single-day passes (priced between 99 and 328 yuan (approximately US$14–46)) and two-day passes covering both the park and all performances. They are available on major platforms including Damai, Ctrip, Douyin, and Maoyan.
For transportation, visitors can take a high-speed train from downtown Chongqing to Wulong South Station, then transfer to a tourist shuttle bus for a roughly 40-minute ride to the park. Self-driving via the Chongqing-Hunan Expressway is also an option, with ample parking available near the scenic area.
