According to the News Conference of the Information Office of Chongqing Municipal Government held on August 8, 436 distinguished guests will attend the upcoming expo.

Who Are They ?

“As of now, 436 VIPs have confirmed to attend the Smart China Expo (SCE) 2018. These important figures are representatives for governments, enterprises, universities and research institutes.” Li Dianxun, Vice Mayor of Chongqing Municipality, introduced at the news conference. The representation of these guests demonstrates high-level, professionalism and internationalization, evidenced by 10 political figures from foreign countries, 2 persons in charge from international organizations, 35 Chinese experts, 145 leaders from famous corporations in China and 142 overseas guests from 28 countries and regions.

It is 15 days left for the opening ceremony of SCE 2018, and on the official website, 84 distinguished guests have been listed. They include Goh Chok To (former Prime Minister of Singapore), Thomas Geisel (Mayor of Düsseldorf), Cristiano Amon (President of Qualcomm), Neil Mendelson (Vice President of Oracle), Piero Scaruffi (Founder of Silicon Valley Artificial Intelligence Research Institute), Jack Ma (Chairman of the Board, Alibaba Group), Pony Ma (Tencent CE0) and Liang Hua ( Huawei Chairman) and so on.
