Countdown: 9 days left for the first Smart China Expo in southwest China’s Chongqing municipality!

Chongqing, the host city of Smart China Expo 2018, an exciting event with the highest level and largest scale of its kind in the city, welcomes distinguished guests from all over the world.

Journey to New Accomplishments

Chongqing is a land of natural beauty and a city with cultural appeal. The municipality is positioned as a pivot in Western Development Strategy and the intersection of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Yangtze River Economic Belt Strategy. It aims to build itself into an inland opening-up highland and a land with lucid mountains and lush waters.

Chongqing uses high-standard opening-up to generate high-quality development. Building the inland opening-up highland represents the ardent expectation of General Secretary Xi Jinping for Chongqing. It is not only an important mission and task given by the Central Committee, but also a great opportunity and responsibility for the municipality.
