We found Regina while she was dancing salsas energetically in front of the mirror in a dancing studio in downtown Chongqing.
Regina is a pretty Russian girl who works in a huge aquarium in Chongqing and gains great popularity in the mermaid show of the aquarium. While she is making her way in the job, Chongqing surprises her with another opportunity – dancing, which has always been her dream career.
“I have had the dream to work as a dancer in the dancing studio since I was a kid and become a dancing teacher.” Said Regina. She began to take salsas course in a dancing studio around June. Thanks to her enthusiasm about dancing and solid dancing foundation, she learned quite fast. And now, she has become the teaching assistant in the studio.
“I moved to Chongqing because I like the cultural heritage here and this city holds great opportunities for me.” Regina, the Russian Mermaid, told iChongqing.
