Visitors at Chongqing Radio Science Experience Center

Invisible and untouchable, the RADIO finds its way into our daily life. Chongqing Radio Science Experience Center, the largest radio science experience center in Western China, opened Oct. 28.
The center contains six thematic halls. Respectively, they are“Gateway to Radio” (Preface Hall), “Radio Founders” exhibition hall, “Radio Across Time and Space” exhibition hall, “Radio Application” exhibition hall, “Radio Games” exhibition hall, and “Hyperspace Dialogue” exhibition hall.
This exhibition center consists of a holographic projection, digital window display as well as it's graphic explanation. They provide a unique interactive experience, and the science center integrates more than 150 pieces of knowledge on the radio.
It covers military history, information communication, broadcast television, astronomy and geography, as well as aerospace, marine navigation, railway transportation, and safety protection.
The experience center shows visitors knowledge from the birth of radio, the scientific research processes of forerunners, to technological applications and advanced achievements of radio in various fields.
Besides this, the experience center displays cutting-edge technology and the latest information on the radio. The content will be periodically updated along with the progress of radio technology.
It’s worth mentioning that the center has made several simple games, with the help of multi-media, electromagnetic phenomenon, naked-eye 3D and AR/VR.
Last but not least, it is free to visitors.
