Yikeshu Lookout Point is an amazing way to tour Nan'an District

The Chongqing Global Travel Agents Conference 2018 kicked off in Nan'an District, Chongqing, on November 9. As the host of the conference, the Nan'an District has lots of tourist resources to welcome travel agents. Nan’an District launched the promotional brand—“Building a Scenic and Cultural Nan’an District to ‘See Beautiful Landscapes of Chongqing’”. Wang Maochun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Nan’an District Committee, indicated several reasons why Nan’an has taken advantage of tourism.

First of all, there are abundant resources of scenic landscapes in Nan’an District. Amazing places include Nanshan Yikeshu Lookout Point, Yangtze River Cableway, as well as old streets and riverside parks, etc. Otherwise, Nan’an District also embraces a brilliant culture and history. Historical-background places are widespread, like Air Force Cemetery, the Former Site of Foreign Firms, and French Navy Barracks. On the other hand, Nan’an District also witnessed numerous moving red stories. There are nearly 60 revolutionary relics, giving birth to various red resources.

Furthermore, it boasts omnidirectional viewing platforms with “river”, “land”, and “air”. This advantage offers perspectives for enjoying the beauty of mountains, rivers and night viewing. The following routes provide in-depth tours in Nan’an District. The first is to visit Nanbin Road along the Yangtze River via five sites—Nanbin Road Yanyu Park, Nanbin Road Dongyuan 1891 Shiguangdao, Nanbin Road Clock Tower Square, Longmenhao Old Street, and Danzishi Square. In addition, the second way is to climb Southern Mountain in an ecological view. Visiting the mountain and appreciating the night scene is also popular in Chongqing. The third way brings the visitor to a three-dimensional view of Chongqing based on “mountains and bridges”. Meanwhile, in Nan’an District, there is the impressive five-level Huangjuewan Overpass, Sujiaba Interchange—China’s tallest ramp bridge shuttling through high buildings, as well as Yangtze River Cableway—known as the “Air Bus”.
