Chongqing is where metro trains pass under bridges, and the cableway goes over the mighty Yangtze River. The unique city landscape has really astonished Viktoryia Bahdanava, a Belarusian travel agent. It is a really interesting city, and besides, this special visual experience can never be found in her country, she said.
Together with Bahdanava, over 50 travel agents from all over the world took a metropolitan tour in the downtown November 13, in which they visited the most famous landmarks of the city, including the Yangtze Cableway, Hongyadong, the Great Hall of the People, the Three Gorges Museum, among others.
Tsuchiya Yoshihisa, deputy director of the Representative Office of Shizuoka Prefecture Government in Shanghai, said that Chongqing is a metropolis with mountains and waters. He has been here 7 times, but this time, it was really different. “The Longmenhao Old Street has kept the style of the old Chongqing. In addition, there is an outlook point where you can take photos of the iconic bridges and metro trains.” He added.
Dr. Kamphol Tangekachai, Chairman of Guang Hua Global Service from Thailand, also marveled at the Yangtze River Cableway. He said it was his first trip to this beautiful and historical city. However, the enthusiasm of local people and the Hot Pot impressed him a lot.
After this one-day city tour, the guests attended the 2018 Chongqing Global Travel Agents Conference (GTAC) on November 14.
