Chongqing showed in the grand exhibition its present Hongyadong with mountain city characteristics, magnificent light show of Jiangbeizui CBD, as well as the light rail passing through the residential building, attracting visitors’ attention.

Chongqing Hongyadong was exhibited in time-lapse photography video gallery.

The “Beautiful China” Video Gallery was proved to be a site with the highest popularity.

There was a large LED displaying on each side of the gallery. It was like walking into a “Time Tunnel.” The images on the display were constantly changing from a photo wall of hundreds of images from all over the country to a time-lapse video of a city.

Among the few city time-lapse photography videos, a time-lapse photography video clip reflecting 24-hour Chongqing was particularly eye-catching. This 30-second video entitled “Hongyadong in Chongqing as part of the Yangtze River Economic Belt” fully showed the beautiful scenery of Chongqing and its changes from morning till night. Hongyadong with charming night scenes and the “Chaotian Yangfan” (literally setting sail from the Chaotianmen Dock) to be a new landmark in Chongqing under construction were displayed in the video, which attracted special attention.

Visitors wowed at the gorgeous light show of Jiangbeizui CBD in Chongqing.

The 24-hour scene of Beibin Road and Jiangbeizui was displayed in the other screen, while playing the “Hongyadong in Chongqing as part of the Yangtze River Economic Belt”.

At night, Jiangbeizui’s fantastic light show became the brightest on the screen. The charming light changes of buildings not only awed visitors, but also were merged with the night scene of Yuzhong Peninsula on the opposite display screen.

In the video gallery, the time-lapse video clip of “Morning-to-Night Chongqing” playing on the both screens constituted a vivid and beautiful picture of Chongqing landscape, which attracted a great many audiences to stop and enjoy.

Baidicheng: A Beautiful “Lonely Island” against the Backdrop of Canyons and Lakes

This is an aerial photo by Xinhua News Agency, which showed the Baidicheng (White Emperor City) in Fengjie County and the mouth of Qutang Gorge of Three Gorges. Baidicheng in the photo presented it a green and beautiful island and was even more beautiful against the backdrop of canyons and lakes.

This photo reflects the new changes of Baidicheng due to the construction of Three Gorges Dam from one aspect. Baidicheng, as the starting point of the Qutang Gorge, the first gorge of Three Gorges, was originally 160 meters above the surface of the Yangtze River. After the impoundment in the Three Gorges Reservoir Region, the water level rose by 102 meters to the mountainside, thus changing Baidicheng from a peninsula to a “lonely island”.

As a prestigious scenic spot along the Three Gorges Dam golden tourism route, Baidicheng is surrounded by water on all sides, occupies the top position in both water and land, and is home to the best place to enjoy the magnificent Kuimen.

China’s first straddle-beam monorail going through a residential building runs in Chongqing.

A photo of the Line 2 monorail of Chongqing Rail Transit passing through the residential building was displayed in the “Amazing China”.

Below the photo, a brief text was introduced on the Line 2 of Chongqing Rail Transit: “The Line 2 of Chongqing Rail Transit, China’s first urban rail transit line and first straddle-beam monorail line, began operations on Nov. 6, 2004.”
