By Xinyi Li, EDITOR  Chongqing-ASEAN Fruit and Seafood Festival 2018 will open on November 30 at Chongqing Shuangfu International Agricultural Product Trade City. During the event, visitors can taste many fruits from ASEAN for free and buy them at a low price.

The festival will begin on November 30

This event is one of the cross-regional cooperation demonstration projects organized jointly by Chongqing’s Jiangjin District and Guangxi’s Fangchenggang. The cross-regional cooperation demonstration project between Jiangjin District and Fangchenggang will realize on November 30. In addition, the two sides will cooperate closely in import and export trade, logistics and tourism in the future.

The festival will last to December 2

On the same day, the Chongqing-ASEAN fruit seafood direct marketing center there will also open the market. The highlight of the opening day is the Chongqing-ASEAN Fruit and Seafood Festival. During the event, the committee will set up a tasting area on the event site. In addition, many fruits from various countries are free to taste to the public.

On November 30, except the opening of the Chongqing-ASEAN fruit seafood direct marketing center, the “Chongqing-ASEAN commodity direct marketing center” will also officially open. The commodity marketing center locates in the commodity exhibition and trading center of Chongqing Jiangjin Comprehensive Bonded Zone. It will display and sell many special products from the 10 ASEAN countries with about 3,000-m² areas in total.

Tips: The Fruit and Seafood Festival will begin from November 30 to December 2. The self-service seafood meal is RMB 39 per person.
