Chongqing to Hold Cup of China ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2019

Have you ever dream about seeing the  Japanese figure skater of Yuzuru Hanyu in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality?

Your dream may come true this year, as Chongqing is to Hold Cup of China ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2019.

On January 3, according to the Cup of China ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (hereinafter referred to as the China Cup), Chongqing will hold the China Station competition from November 8 to 10, 2019. So it will become the fifth host city of the China Cup after Beijing, Nanjing, Harbin and Shanghai. It is also the westernmost and southernmost city that the China Cup has ever been.

The grand prix consists of six sub-station competitions in the US (October 18-20), Canada (October 25-27), France (November 1-3), China (November 8-10), Russia (November 15-17), and Japan (November 22-24). The finals will run from December 5 to 8 in France.

The China Cup is the third sub-station of the grand prix hosted by the International Skating Union (ISU). All world-class figure skating players will participate in the competition. Since 2003, this event has been held for 15 consecutive years in China. And a number of first-class players including Yuzuru Hanyu and Jin Boyang have participated in that. At present, the fans are looking forward to meeting Yuzuru Hanyu in Chongqing.
