The beach volleyball team of Southwest University

Wenchang, Hainan Province - After four days of intense competition, the 2019 China University Beach Volleyball Championship finally came to an end. The championship was held at National Beach Volleyball Training Base in Gaolong Bay, Wenchang, Hainan.

The Championship is an annual high-level sports tournament for university students in China. Moreover, this year, it attracted over 120 athletes and coaches from nearly 20 universities.

Also, it is Southwest University's first time to participate in the championship.

Meanwhile, Zhang Yu and Yan Yunxiao participated in the competition for high-level athletes. Besides this, they were actually students majored in sports training. Finally, they won the championship with a complete victory, which is the first in volleyball history of Southwest University.
