For the Next Spring Festival: Departure is for the next reunion

January 14 may be a lovely day for couples. But it could be a departure time for Chinese families because Thursday was the 10th day of the first lunar month according to the Chinese Calendar, and the 15th day means the official end of the Spring Festival period. After the seven-day national holiday from January 4 to 10, it's a time for family members to say goodbye due to work away from their homes.

Many people are on their travel back, starting a new journey in the Year of the Pig.

Within a year of 365 days or 366, they only have seven days to stay together. It was s on February 12 and at the entrance of South Square of Chongqing Bei (North) Railway Station. Working in Shenzhen, the old couple has just met Shanshan three times in total. This time, they found that Shanshan has grown up and taller.

At another side, Niuniu, ten months old, was heading to Hubei with her father. The young mother, unwilling to leave, hoped that the time could be longer for her to see her daughter off.

One is in Guang’an of Sichuan, and another is in the downtown of Chongqing. Liu and his girlfriend are in a long-distance relationship. About to leave, Liu was turning around repeatedly.

On another side, the daughter was about to go to work at another place. And her father was taking a selfie with her by mobile phone. Her mother, standing aside, is taking another photo of the two. The family of three is recording their departure in this unique way.

Several minutes ago, she tried to repress the heart-broken unwillingness to part for fear that her relative might find out. Now, she cannot help but burst into tears at a corner.

As the airplane was about to take off, beloved ones were kissing goodbye. In this May, the girl will return back and work in Chongqing. The boy expects the next reunion.

Bus stations, railway stations, and airports have witnessed such parting scenes again and again. On the after-festival return travel every year, these stations also record people’s unwillingness to go, sorrow, warmth, and touched feelings. The Spring Festival travel rush has provided an arena for reunion and departure. And the players all believe that departure is for the next reunion.
