The coming of WESG to Chongqing is merely a matter of time

Since last year, Chongqing’s e-sports began to revive with considerable momentum. The home court of Snake, a famous team of the League of Legends, settled in Chongqing. Therefore, Chongqing people can watch the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) without traveling. Ali Sports, the Administrative Committee of Chongqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and Jiulongpo District Government reached a cooperation agreement. They decided to make the e-sports headquarter in Chongqing. In addition, the Dota2 Major kicked off in Chongqing this year for the first time.

After Ali Sports and the government signed a contract, both sides will focus on the e-sports industry. Centering on Chongqing’s e-sports venues and Shiqiaopu Business Area, they added e-sports events to build an international e-sports exchange platform. They also provided a lot of equipment for players in the characteristic blocks of e-sports!
