The co-creators of the Center are Chongqing Daily News Group and Chongqing Education Association for International Exchange. It serves as a platform for the international promotion of education in Chongqing, aiming to expand Chongqing’s education to the globe and advance its internationalization.
Build overseas channels for educational communication
It will enable overseas users to know about Chongqing’s education through the English website “www.ichongqing.info” and via such multimedia as photos/texts, audios, and H5 platform.
“In addition to the English-version website, we will also operate our official accounts on the social media like Facebook and Twitter, directly reaching the overseas users.” The director of the Center expressed that those overseas platforms have gathered a lot of young netizens. Interacting with overseas users through the continuous updating of contents and combining operation with promotion, it will expand the influences of Chongqing’s education abroad.
Meanwhile, Chongqing Education Center for International Communication has entered in cooperation with overseas media, covering over 30,000 media companies, 11,000 websites, databases and news clients. It is striving to promote the education of Chongqing through photos, texts, and multimedia in an all-around way.
Promote brand awareness of Chongqing’s education overseas
Chongqing Daily News Group and Chongqing Education Association for International Exchange will bring their advantages into full play and build a new platform for overseas studying, international study in China and Chongqing, and research.
They will also co-build a communication park for the international media to promote China and foreign exchanges, facilitate the location of the expo for international people-to-people exchanges in Chongqing and reshape it into a new name card of this city.
The two parties will advance the establishment of the international sports industry park, and join hands in driving the systematic training of Chongqing’s international sports. Besides, they will build a language database of Chongqing Education Center for International Communication and seek for commercial cooperation.
The director said, “We will support the construction of strong education in Chongqing through a series of promotion and cooperation. Moreover, we also take efforts to deepen the opening up of Chongqing’s education, promote its processes of ‘bring in & go global’, and improve the brand awareness of Chongqing’s education at home and abroad.”
