Chongqing- Intelligent facilities are widely used in our daily life, and participants can also enjoy this technology during the 2nd session of Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT). This event will begin on May 16, 2019. The following paragraphs will introduce the intelligent facilities before, during, and after the WCIFIT.

Intelligent facilities, such as portrait recognition, intelligent parking guidance and so on, will be on operation during WCIFIT

Apply for admission card on site

To facilitate all participants convenient registration to the WCIFIT and to handle procedures for pass cards, the Organizing Committee has introduced numerous efficient and fast ways to register.

Exhibitors, guests, delegations, and media to the WCIFIT can register on the official website and the official WeChat account (WCIFIT). Six pre-registration ways are available for visitors. In addition to the above-introduced two ways, online registration on official platforms like outdoor advertising, registration H5, Toutiao, Tik Tok, etc. are also recommended.

For those who plan to register on-site, the WCIFIT has set up self-service machines and manual service desks. Patrons should input the ID information and phone number on the self-service machine and get the e-ticket (QR code linked with portrait). Without a mobile phone, visitors are advised to scan the ID card on the machine and print the temporary admission. Those who don’t have an ID card or mobile phone also need not worry. On the manual service desks, the staff will help to print the temporary admission if military ID card, student ID card, passport, driving license, senior citizen ID, or other provided for of ID.

Portrait recognition raises the efficiency of admission

To ensure the high entrance speed and raise the recognition rate of admission, The Organizing Committee also introduces the intelligent experience wall for ticket checking. This session of WCIFIT features the all-link-coverage portrait collection system and a pre-registration system. E-ticket linked with portrait information is playing a major role in on-site check-in. Meanwhile, staff with obvious ID marks, such as relevant cards, only needs to get close to the entrance guard system. It will recognize the portrait on the card and open the door automatically. Portrait recognition has ideally raised the admission speed, and under its support, 20 people can be admitted per minute.

The entrance guard facilities also feature high-tech, fast in recognition and passing, and high safety. The system adopts flap barrier turnstile with smart portrait recognition function and over 7 pairs of infrared scanners, which further secures an unobstructed and safe entrance. Besides intelligent recognition, visitors can also enter the site by verifying their portrait and ID card or scanning a QR code. All these measures will accelerate the recognition and admission process.

This system will record the quantity of the participants for data analysis. On the site of the WCIFIT, the real-time analysis results will be displayed, providing data support to the exhibitors to conduct investment, trade, commercial, and matchmaking activities. For example, absent audience members who have completed the pre-registration will receive short message reminders.

Based on the statistics, full-coverage data will be classified into different grades and importance degrees for thorough analysis, which will lay a solid foundation for the follow-up work. Besides, the Meeting Affairs Group will conduct an intelligent match based on the results.

Intelligent parking guidance

Moreover, the Executive Committee will launch an intelligent navigation system to facilitate the visitors to reach the exhibition site conveniently. The system, which is still under development, will be operated by guests and visitors on their mobile phones to realize smart and precise positioning and navigation as well as the services including exhibition visiting, conference attending, car parking and fetching, and guest reception and see-off.

At present, there are several approaches to reach the exhibition site. The visitors who take Chongqing Rail Transit or buses or take Yuelai Avenue may turn right at the square of the expo center, show or apply for pass cards at the gate of the south loop, north zone, central hall, and enter the exhibition hall after the recognition at the gate machine.

Visitors who take Yuelai Binjiang Road may turn left at the square of the expo center, show or apply for pass cards at the gate of the south loop, north zone, central hall, and enter the exhibition hall after the recognition at the gate machine.

The visitors who drive their own cars may park the vehicles at the parking lot at Tongmao Avenue, show or apply for pass cards at north registration hall, and enter the exhibition hall after the recognition at the gate machine.
