Chongqing - On the afternoon of May 16, the Hungarian National Pavilion opened at the 2^nd Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT). During WCIFIT, Hungary's innovative technology and high-quality trade products were highlighted. At the same time, China-Hungary Hot Spring Industry Cooperation Summit Forum, Table Football, Hungary Tourism Experience Hall and folk cultural activities were held during WCIFIT.

At 2 p.m., at the entrance of the Hungarian National Pavilion, guests from Hungary had a performance. Accompanied by a cheerful rhythm and voice of Hungarian ethnical musical instruments, accompanied by a cheerful rhythm, guests from Budapest, Hungary sang and danced, performing a folk dance full of exotic characteristics.

This is also one of the two major cultural events held annually by the Hungarian General Consulate in Chongqing. Mr. Dióssi Lóránd, Consul General of Hungary in Chongqing, introduced that the two large-scale cultural activities brought Budapest customs to tourists from the central and western regions. As the guest country of WCIFIT, Hungary brings a delegation of folk arts, including folk dance, instrument performance, handicraft art and so on with the theme of Hungarian springs. They will give an audiovisual feast to Chongqing citizens during WCIFIT.

Hungary is the guest country of this year's WCIFIT. Hungarian National Pavilion is located in the N1 Pavilion of Chongqing International Expo Center. "This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary. It is a great honor for Hungary to be invited as the main guest of the 2nd WCIFIT." Said Mr. Consul General. He also pointed out that Hungary is actively promoting the construction of the Belt and Road with China, including cooperation with Chongqing in science, technology, education, culture, and tourism.

Visitors can get to know more about characteristic tourist attractions of Hungary and hot spring culture in Hungary National Pavilion. In the National Image and Enterprise Exhibition Area, more than 40 Hungarian exhibitors displayed various products and services. The Hungarian food and beverage impressed visitors a lot. In the 50 square meters area, there are high-quality Hungarian wine, nutritional and health products, candy and chocolate, etc. Visitors can not only taste authentic Hungarian chocolate but also famous Hungarian wines.

Table football originated in Hungary, is a very popular sport in Europe. During the exhibition, three tables are displayed. Hungarian professional coaches will be invited to train and explain on the spot. Fans are also invited to play. During the exhibition, exhibitors will also organize table football exercises with local U18 football players, which will provide free experience for all visitors.
