Free Art Tour in Chongqing, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Graduates Artworks Show

Chongqing - On May 24, the opening ceremony of Art Tour of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute kicked off in the Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (SCFAI). Since 2005, it has been the 15th year that the Art Tour has been carried out. The Art Tour highlights the Exhibition of 2019 Graduate Students Works SCFAI and welcomes citizens to appreciate the art feast on the campus.

The Art Tour is organized by Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and Chongqing Cultural Investment Group under the support of Publicity Department of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, Chongqing Municipal Culture Committee and Chongqing Municipal Federation of Literature and Art Circles.

In this year's graduation exhibition of the Art Tour, more than 10,000 works of 1714 undergraduate students in 20 majors and 259 graduate students in 6 master's degree programs were exhibited at the same time. The Huxi campus of SCFAI exhibits the graduation works of fine arts, design, drama, film and television, art theory, education, and architecture. The exhibition runs from May 24 to June 9. Huangjueping campus exhibits mural art, integrated painting, landscape art, decorative art, lighting art design, exhibition art design, publishing media design, game design, commercial illustration, and other majors with exhibition time from May 29 to June 15. The exhibitions are free for citizens to visit.

Global Game Art Contest(GGAC) was released at the same time. GGAC is the largest professional Game Art Contest in the world, which is hosted by ABOX, a top Game Art platform in China. ABOX, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and Chongqing Cultural Property Rights Trading Center are the joint sponsors. GGAC collects and releases artworks from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. The three sides jointly work on the integration of industry, university and research, digital art professional community (game animation direction), game copyright transaction and so on.

During the Art Tour, a variety of events such as Children’s Day Art Carnival and Huxi Commune Artist Studio VIP open activity will meet citizens’ demand to get close interaction with art.
