Chongqing - On the morning of May 28, at the venue of the Belt and Road International Skills Competition (BRISC), 698 participants from 44 countries were fully involved in their work and presented the top skills under the 18 competition items.

iChongqing brings you an on-the-spot guide to show you through the busy and vibrant venue. The BRISC is taking place in the S1, S3, and S4 pavillions of Chongqing International Expo Center from May 28 to 29th.  It is open to the public for free in the two days. 

In S1 pavilion, the participants were competing in 6 sectors including Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Fashion Technology, Electronics, Floristry, Freight Forwarding.

S3 pavilion holds 5 items which are Cooking, Restaurant Service, Information Network Cabling, Bakery, Health and Social Care.

S4 pavilion is the venue for Painting and Decorating, Plumbing and Heating, Water Technology, Electrical Installations, and Automobile Technology.

Meanwhile, the wonderful exhibitions of Chongqing craftsmanship are going on in S2 pavilion, such as Qipao show, pottery, embroidery, carving, paper cutting, wooden work, traditional Musical Instruments, weaving and binding, painting, and catering. Visitors can enjoy the charming culture in person through experiencing items including Hot pot, noodle, tea art, baking, wine mixing, coffee, beauty, hairdressing.

In addition, in order to promote Chinese enterprises to participate in the Belt and Road, 56 Initiative, 56 equipment and technology enterprises will also be on exhibition at the competition venue of  S1, S3, S4.
