Chongqing - While there are certainly many exotic International pavilions at the Western China Tourism Industry Expo, one of them, in particular, caught the audiences' eyes with their sparkles. The Czech Republic is renowned for its crystal glassware, so iChongqing journalist took a closer look at the Czech pavilion to get to know more about what they have to offer.

At the Czech pavilion, which is also organized by the China-Europe Cultural Exchange Association,  Cecilia was kind enough to give the visitors a tour of the crystal glass products they have on display.

"All of these are imported from the Czech Republic," Cecilia explained, as she took the audience through what they have on display.

Starting at the back of their display area, Cecilia showed their collection of drinking glasses. They have just about anything you can imagine, glasses for coffee, champagne, red wine, and whiskey, all of them handcrafted and inlaid with 24K gold. The glasses come in different colors as well, and while they were all spectacular, the blue set stood out to us. The crystal glass sets are from Luxury Gold.

However, beautiful as they are, another even more stunning set is Cecilia's favorite. "My favorite ones are these. These glasses have golden leaves inlaid into the glasses ... (a process that is) very difficult".

They also have a wide selection of jewelry, especially necklaces and earrings, all made from crystal glass, which, surprisingly, shines a lot like diamonds. There is much more to see at the Czech pavilion though, and we do not want to ruin the surprise. The crystal glass jewelry is from the brand Senyr.
