On August 6, the Chongqing Qianjiang Tourism Promotion Conference was held in Furama City Centre Hotel. A representative from Chongqing Qianjiang Marketing Planning Co., Ltd. said that since the implementation of China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity (CCI), the tourism markets of Chongqing and Singapore had witnessed frequent interaction, rapid growth in visitor numbers, and great potential for tourism cooperation between the two places.

Chongqing Qianjiang Tourism Products Promotion Conference was held in Furama City Centre Hotel

Qianjiang is one of the most recommended tourist destinations in mainland China. Located in Southeast Chongqing and the Wuling Mountain area, it is known as the “Portal connecting Chongqing and Hubei.” With seven national 4A-rated tourist areas including Zhuoshui Ancient Town, Puhua Underground River, Mini South China Sea, Balahu Scenic Spot, Thirteen Tujia Stockaded Villages, Shengui Gorge and Alice Manor, it has become a popular choice for tourists.

At the site of the promotion conference, through promotional video presentation, cultural performances, interactive lucky draw and other activities, the tourism marketing staff from Qianjiang displayed the characteristic tourist resources of Zhuoshui Ancient Town, Zhuoshui Fengyu Bridge, Puhua Underground River, Sky’s Eyes, Balahu Scenic Spot, and the world’s tallest cliff statue of Avalokitesvara.

In addition, in cooperation with premium scenic spots in surrounding regions, Qianjiang launched diversified tourist line products including the 8-day tour and promoted the featured “Qianjiang + the Three Gorges” tourist line and the “Qianjiang + Southeast Chongqing” one with the local reception service.

The “Qianjiang + the Three Gorges” line (Singapore — Chongqing — Qianjiang — Lichuan — Yichang — the Three Gorges — Chongqing — Singapore) offers experience in such scenic spots as the Zhuoshui Ancient Town, Puhua Underground River (including cruise ships), Balahu Scenic Spot (including the glass walkway), Yunyang Longgang Scenic Area (including Cloudy Lounge Bridge, Longgang Heavenly Pit and Glass Cliff Walk), Yichang Binjiang Park, the Three Gorges Dam, Wuxi Shennv Scenic Site, Shibaozhai in Zhongxian County, Huguang Guild Hall, Bashu Culture and Art Exhibition Hall and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street.

The “Qianjiang + Southeast Chongqing” 8-day tour line (Singapore — Chongqing — Yunyang — Lichuan — Qianjiang — Wulong — Chongqing — Chishui — Chongqing— Singapore) embraces representative scenic spots such as the Baiheliang Underwater Museum in Fuling, Yunyang Longgang Scenic Area (including Cloudy Lounge Bridge, Glass Cliff Walk and Longgang Heavenly Pit), Zhuoshui Scenic Area (Zhuoshui Ancient Town, Zhuoshui Fengyu Bridge and Puhua Underground River), Balahu Scenic Spot (including the electromobility and glass walkway), Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges Site, Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, Chishui Great Falls, Sidonggou Scenic Area and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street.
