The 8th Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo Comes!

The 8th Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo (CQCIE) will be held from September 12 to 15 at Chongqing International Expo Center. It is going to exhibit antiques from the Palace Museum and world-famous cultural creation products like Miffy Bunny from the Netherlands.

Since 2012, CQCIE has been through 7 sessions. The 7th CQCIE attracted nearly 1,000 exhibitors working in 180 industries from 18 countries, and 25 provinces, cities and autonomous regions of China. Numerous cultural products and financing & investment projects found cooperators through the platform. The event also won the Gold Award of 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up · China Brilliant Exhibitions. CQCIE has now become a world-class expo.

The 8th CQCIE occupies an area of 60,000 m2, and sets up 5 theme exhibition halls: N1 “Share Cultures and Landscapes” Hall of Achievements, N2 The Belt and Road World Cultures Hall, N3 China’s Culture and Traditional Crafts Hall, N4 Trading Hall of Featured Cultural Industries and N6 Hall of Integrated and Innovative Cultural Arts. People can visit creative markets, enjoy cutting-edge designs, do handicrafts, learn photography, and buy popular cultural creation products from the Palace Museum like cosmetics.

Foreign exhibitors of the 8th CQCIE, who come from more than 20 countries, outnumber the ones of the previous seven sessions. Covering over 200 booths in the specially-established The Belt and Road World Cultures Hall, they will introduce diversified cultural tourism products to Chongqing, including Miffy from the Netherlands and local products from Japan.

Additionally, the 8th CQCIE will hold two high-level conferences: Annual Meeting of China Media and Chinese Urban Culture Summit Forum. Other appealing activities include Selection of The Most Beautiful Kindergarten Principal, Selection of Top Local B&Bs in Chongqing, Review of Classic Movies to Celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.
