The four-day 2019 Smart China Expo (SCE 2019) that offered a visual feast to visitors with a large number of cool-tech products is over, but citizens and tourists can go to the Chongqing Lijia Smart Experience Park to carry on experiencing 5G life and autonomous driving, watch robots playing the piano and dancing. The Experience Park will continue to run after the SCE, enabling visitors to experience 50 different smart projects.
The Experience Park has introduced three autonomous-driving shuttle buses, two autonomous-driving vending vehicles and one autonomous-driving sweeper, providing visitors with a smart experience in traveling, shopping, and cleaning.
The Neolix autonomous-driving vending vehicle equipped with Baidu Apollo technology is a type of Level 4 autonomous-driving vehicle. It circulates the square where the autonomous-driving shuttle buses depart from, providing tourists with snacks, drinks and other products. Visitors can wave or stand in front of the vehicle to stop it at any time. Then, they can purchase snack items through WeChat Pay or Alipay after selecting products through the touch screen on the car, or scanning the QR code to place orders on the WeChat App.
The Experience Park is home to 5G Pavilion, Yiqu Pavilion, Yunshang Experience Center and Yunding Market, immersing visitors in smart life experience in a recreational way. Among them, the 5G Pavilion is a must-go choice for those who long for experiencing 5G life in advance. The 16 application experience projects here incorporate 5G video call, VR virtual driving, immersive bicycle, smart medical treatment, smart tourism, and smart sports.
The 820,000-square-meter Yunshang Flower Forest in the Experience Park integrates ecological landscape and technology application to eye a green and smart recreational space. This season, the boundless purple sea of blooming verbena here will come in as a new online-sensation attraction in Chongqing.
On the top of the mountain, specialties of various districts and counties of Chongqing flood into the Yunding Market. At the Yunding Market designed with the concept of “Cloud Life & Micro-Block,” visitors can place orders online and receive goods at home.
