At the last Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo (CICIE), the Wadaiko (Japanese drum) performance in the Japan Pavilion attracted a lot of audiences. What new surprises will it bring to us this year? This time, Chengdu Ito-Yokado E-commerce Co., Ltd. (Ito-Yokado E-commerce) under Ito-Yokado Chengdu is invited to the Japan Pavilion of the 8th CICIE.
To diversify the exhibition forms, the Consulate-General of Japan at Chongqing will join hands with Chongqing HI-LEX Cable System Group Co., Ltd. to invite the Shamisen performance team Guodo Sangen Yuyokai (求道三絃 由謡会), Japan to the expo.
They will bring Chongqing citizens fascinating shows played with traditional Japanese musical instruments and interact with the performers in the pavilion. Besides, Hiroshima Prefecture will join as another exhibitor to publicize and sell some of their local commodities.
Backed by the mother company, Ito-Yokado E-commerce rolled out its major O2O and cross-border e-commerce (CBEC) businesses in August 2018. So far, it has attracted nearly 200,000 followers with the maximum daily order volume of over 3,000. Ito-Yokado itself will also be present at the expo.
Apart from the Japan Pavilion, the Hungary Pavilion will display beautiful peninsula style products from continental Europe. They have prepared not only the tourism culture and featured tour packages but also the good wine, hot spring, and the hunting culture from Hungary.
In addition, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency from South Korea will debut at this session of the CICIE. They will bring 100 representative scenic spots promoted by the Korea Tourism Organization and showcase the tourism and cultural resources of the country. At this expo, it aims to boost the cultural exchange between South Korea and Chongqing and the economic and trade cooperation between enterprises in both places, as well as to attract more Chongqing citizens to visit South Korea.
