During the National Day holiday, Chongqing received accolades from tourists, who said they wanted to visit the charming city again. It is great that people will have new destinations since Likely Wharf or Liujia Wharf, Jihua Park, Longqiao River Scenic Area, and Wushan Museum have been rated as AAAA scenic areas. AAAA areas are the most important and best-maintained tourist attractions in China, the highest level in the rating categories used by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Chongqing Likely Wharf Scenic Area is located under the Huanghuayuan Bridge on First Beibin Road, Jiangbei District. The special riverside tourism belt covers an area of 100,000 m2, integrating sightseeing, hotels, catering, shopping, and entertainment.
Main scenic spots there are Liujiatai (former site), which is the cradle of Chongqing hotpot, Chongqing Hotpot World Banquet Museum, and Likely Wharf Ocean Aquarium. It is also a great place to enjoy the 3D landscape of Chongqing.
Jihua Park enjoys skiing, indoor surfing, indoor skydiving, sport climbing, and other appealing programs. During the National Day holiday, Indoor Snowboarding Park was also opened to the public.
Jihua Park combines industries such as sports, education, and tourism, in a bid to promote extreme sports and winter sports in Southwest China.
Longqiaohe Scenic Area is 20km away from Xinglong Town, Fengjie County. It is renowned for beautiful Tiansheng Bridge, waterfalls, and gorges.
Visitors can enjoy natural landscapes, while experiencing Tu cultures and customs in the Longqiaohe Scenic Area, one of the major sightseeing areas in Fengjie.
Wushan Museum owns over 50,000 pieces. With 1,345 precious antiques, it ranked 2nd among museums in Chongqing. Its collections include stone implements dating back to 2.04 million years and also contemporary objects, boasting a large quantity, wide varieties, and high grade and value.
