Minsk Region, Belarus, recently welcomed its first Chongqing Hot Pot Restaurant at No. 2 Kosowski Road, Minsk City.
Covering an area of 1,100m2, the restaurant provides small and large hot pots.
Attendees at its opening ceremony include the deputy governor of Minsk Region, Ms. Homeli, head of Main Department for Ideology, Culture and Youth Affairs of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, and Ms. Olia, representative of Minsk Region in Chongqing; Cultural Tourism Delegation of Chongqing. The successful opening of the restaurant presents the feature and name card of Chongqing — hot pot.

Chongqing Cultural Tourism Minsk Promotion Center was founded under the authorization of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development in 2018. It aims to introduce Chongqing as “A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal” to citizens of Belarus and promote the culture and traditions of China. Since its inception, the Center has intensified the mutual exchange and friendly cooperation between Minsk Region and Chongqing City in culture, tourism, and other humanity sectors while assisting in the closing of several agreements and mutual visits between the two places.
