Chongqing - A fierce and powerful competition will take place in Chongqing to warm up the cooling autumn. International Boxing Champions will gather in the city to fight for the championship.

The Information Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government on Oct. 10 held a news release conference where they announced the 2019 China Chongqing WBO/WBC Global Championship Event. The Championship fight night will kick off in Chongqing on Oct.26 at the Yubei Stadium.

This event consists of one WBO Global Gold Belt Tournament, one WBC Intercontinental Boxing Gold Belt Tournament, one WKA Intercontinental Golden Belt Tournament, four WBO International Rankings, and one Chongqing International Boxing Event Center Kickboxing Tournament.
The 2019 China Chongqing WBO/WBC Global Championship Event, is guided by China Boxing Association and Chongqing Administration of Sport, organized by Chongqing Yubei District People's Government, Chongqing Yubei District Sports Development Center, and Chongqing DP-POWER Sports Culture Communication Co., Ltd. It is certified by the WBO World Boxing Organization, WBC World Boxing Council, and WKA World Kickboxing Association as a first-class domestic fighting competition.
On the day of the event, Ge Wenfeng, who holds the title of WBO Oriental Boxing Champion and International Boxing Champion, will compete with legendary Thai boxer and former WBC World Boxing Champion Suriyan Satorn, in a 12 round WBO Global Golden Belt Championship match.
In another major competition, Lin Chunlei, who ranks 3rd in China’s National Boxing Tournament, will challenge former Indonesian national Olympic boxer Galih Susanto in what is sure to be an exciting match.
As one of the highlights, the kickboxing will bring the atmosphere to a new extreme. In the WKA World Kickboxing Association Intercontinental Golden Belt Competition, China's first WBC Muay Thai 70 kg international gold belt owner, Luo Jie, will accept a challenge from Korean national Muay Thai team boxer Cao Shanhai.
