Chongqing- has added a new cultural landmark. On October 11th, the Yuelai Art Museum officially opened with the support of Chongqing Yuelai Investment Group. This signifies the launch of the Yuelai New Media Art Season, and The Critical Point art exhibition also opened at the Yuelai Art Museum. The Yuelai Art Museum will adhere to a clear international vision, introduce classic art from the East and the West, establish interactions between domestic and foreign artists, art institutions and art projects, and establish an international exchange and exhibition platform by holding high-quality international contemporary art exhibitions.

The Yuelai Art Museum is located on the 2nd floor of Chongqing Yuelai Ecological building. The area is roughly 5,000 square meters. It will open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday, including the holidays.

Inside the museum

The Critical Point art exhibition is also hosted by Chongqing Yuelai Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Management Committee. The show was organized by famous curator Yu Ke, a professor from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, and six renowned Chinese contemporary artists: Liu Jianhua, Yan Xiaochun, Sui Jianguo, Wang Jianwei, Wang Luyan, and Xu Zhen. The exhibition is free to the public and will last until November 26.

As a new organism in the urban culture of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, the opening of the Yuelai Art Museum in the space fits the position in Yuelai International Convention and Exhibition Center, which integrates people's imaginations about culture, art, and life. This is also an attempt to integrate ecology, science, and creativity in the construction of the Liangjiang New Area.
