Chongqing Children's Library is a high-level national library with rich experience in youth service. There are precious cultural relics and foreign historical resources – the former site of Roosevelt Library Site. After becoming the Chongqing International Youth Research Tourism Base, it will give full play to its advantages and develop long-term experience projects such as calligraphy, tea art, Guqin, and other intangible cultural heritage skills for international teenagers. Moreover, according to the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture Tourism Development, the listing of the base provides an excellent platform for the development of multi-level, multi-channel, and multi-form to international teenagers. Additionally, it also helps to strengthen the cultural exchanges of young people between the city and the world to enhance the city's foreign culture and expand cultural tourism and international cooperation in Chongqing.

After the ceremony, teachers and students, from Chaminade College Preparatory High School, experienced local cultural features such as Guqin, painting of Liangping, calligraphy, tea, and Tai Chi in the Roosevelt Library.

“Different art things are great for our students,” said Bryan Cantwell, the coach of Chaminade College Preparatory High School. He thought these cultural activities interact with students. The base offers an opportunity for students, who come from the local and foreign countries, to communicate with each other. “We are honored to be here to represent the United States, for the delegation of FDR (Franklin D. Roosevelt), one of the greatest presidents for the library.” Said Bryan.
